Monthly Speaker Series for Texas Parks & Wildlife Magazine
From bookshops to state parks, the start of in-person events has been an incredible way for the magazine team to interface with readers. Our ‘Wild Night’ Speaker Series has opened the door for likeminded subscribers to learn more about the content featured in each respective month’s issue.
From Austin to Dallas and suburbs in between, we’ve been hitting the road and hitting up indie bookshops along the way. Our strategy: meet the readers where they want to be met.
This has been the magazine’s first attempt at ‘community marketing’ or ‘field marketing’ in 85 years. By stepping outside (both literally and figuratively) of the publishing space, we are driving community awareness for the magazine and actively generating brand affinity among the most engaged members of our target audience.
